Anybody who has seen any of the “Fast and the Furious” films knows that the cars featured in the movies play a starring role right next to Vin Diesel and the Rock. Although the movies can be a bit over the top at times, they’re still an excellent showcase for some of the stunning abilities of certain FCA US LLC vehicles, as they are featured performing stunts like jumping off bridges and driving 120 miles per hour into oncoming traffic, neither of which we condone trying at home.
Here at Village Motors Inc., we have heard from Tech Times that the new “Fast and the Furious” movie, Furious 7 will feature the 2015 Dodge Charger and the 2015 Dodge Challenger in prominent roles. The movie will be out in theaters in less than a month, and we are now just hearing that Dodge and Universal are in a partnership that promotes the vehicles in TV advertising spots and a landing page on the Dodge website that promotes the film. We have also heard that the 2015 Dodge Charger in the film will be driven by Vin Diesel’s character in a high-speed chase scene. Michelle Rodriguez’s character will be behind the wheel of a black and green 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T.
You may be wondering why the ultra fast SRT Hellcat versions of these vehicles aren’t featured in the film. Instead of being in the movie, Dodge has forged a partnership with Atlantic Records to features these models in several music videos by artists such as Kid Ink, Wale, Rich Homie, Young Thug, and Prince Royce.
