We’re only halfway through 2018, but FCA US LLC has won enough awards that an assembly line might be needed to ensure prompt delivery to headquarters. The company’s latest wins come courtesy of the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA) and its annual Family Car Challenge.
If ever proof was needed that the all-new 2019 RAM 1500 is more than just a hard-charging, near-invincible work truck, said proof was offered at GAAMA’s Family Car Challenge. It was here that the 2019 RAM 1500 was honored not only as Best Family Truck, but also as Best Family Car. These determinations were made after the GAAMA judges’ panel evaluated a host of competing vehicles in several family-focused categories. What makes these awards extra special is that the Family Car Challenge is the only vehicle competition that specifically assesses the needs and desires of families.
GAAMA members were effusive in their praise for the 2019 RAM 1500, with one particular statement summing up their feelings: “It’s only fitting that the all-new 2019 RAM 1500 won our top overall award, given how loaded it is with well-thought-out features that are important to families.”
Not to be outdone, the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica also scored big in the Family Car Challenge.
