If you read last month’s Village Motors Inc. blog post about the brand-new Jeep® Gladiator, you’ll be thrilled to know that the Jeep truck has officially hit production. The magic is happening in the Jeep brand’s Toledo plant, where 4,000 Jeep models are being manufactured for presale. Those 4,000 Jeep models will be pioneers of the revolutionary vehicle that the Jeep Gladiator is.
The first Jeep Gladiator will be branded as a 2020 model. If you haven’t heard about it yet, the Jeep Gladiator is a Jeep Wrangler-like pickup truck. Similar to the Jeep Wrangler, it offers a square build, a 4×4 design, and removable doors.
However, the Jeep Gladiator has merits all of its own. For starters, it offers best-in-class towing and payload capacities. The truck is capable of towing over 7,600 lb and carrying a payload of over 1,600 lb. For years, Jeep lovers have wished for a vehicle that can perform off-road and tow. The Jeep Gladiator accomplishes just that. What’s more, the truck offers four trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon.
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator boasts the most updated technology, following in the footsteps of other new Jeep models. Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ compatibility allows drivers to navigate apps and check messages on the vehicle’s clear-cut touchscreen. The new Jeep model also features ample storage room for gear, from small spaces behind the rear seat to the large space underneath the seats themselves.
If the Jeep Gladiator catches your attention, get ready to head over to Village Motors Inc. in the near future. We’re just as excited to for it to arrive at our Jeep dealership near Wooster, OH as you are!
