Just recently at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show, the RAM brand and Mopar combined forces to customize an all-new 2019 RAM 1500, and the results were amazing. The goal was to demonstrate how a Mopar parts and accessories menu could be utilized to customize this world-class pickup. More than 200 factory-backed, authentic components were featured, showing our Village Motors customers the ability to modify their 2019 RAM 1500 when it reaches our dealership later this year.
One highlight of this customization endeavor was Mopar’s new RAM Airflow cold-air intake system, something our RAM dealership serving New Philadelphia, OH can’t wait to see up close. This system delivers a consistent stream of fresh air to the 2019 RAM 1500 model’s 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine, optimizing its efficiency and its ability to output 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The RAM Airflow system integrates with another Mopar component: a performance cat-back stainless steel exhaust which delivers a deep exhaust note.
Another exciting Mopar development seen in Chicago was the soon-to-be-released RAM Rack, in development since the first prototype appeared at the 2016 SEMA Show. With this innovative rack in place, 2019 RAM 1500 owners can store and transport a diverse range of lifestyle equipment. The RAM Rack is also adjustable, able to slide back and forth on an available set of bed utility rails.
Inside this custom 2019 RAM 1500, new Mopar all-weather floor mats were displayed, each with deeper channels and sidewalls for better water and debris containment. Also present were Mopar brushed aluminum door sill guards emblazoned with the RAM text logo and premium black Katzkin leather seats.
