Here in Ohio, there’s little doubt that we love our pickup trucks. When Millersburg drivers are looking for a vehicle that combines toughness, versatility, and interior comfort, the 2015 RAM 1500 is a top choice. But as much as we love pickups, the new RAM 1500 concept vehicle is going to honor the pickup truck tradition of the state of Texas. The new Texas Ranger concept of the RAM 1500 will take the already-great RAM 1500 to new places, thanks to an all-new design and a rebooted interior.
At your local Millersburg RAM dealership, we read an article in “Four Wheeler” that said that one in five new trucks sold in the United States is sold in Texas, which is why RAM is choosing to honor that state with its new pickup. The new Texas Ranger concept version of the RAM 1500 truck New Philadelphia-area residents already love will feature unique badging and finishes that honor the celebrated Texas Rangers from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The original Ranger badges took inspiration from Mexican five-peso coins, and this design will be showcased throughout the interior and exterior of the new concept RAM 1500.
On the interior of the truck, you’ll find etched canyon brown and tan leather, tooled-metal details, and more unique Texas Ranger accents. Additionally, there are four real Mexican five-peso silver coins inlaid within the wooden bits of the door bolsters. The theme continues in the front console, where the center stack, console, door spears, and seat trim bezels are decorated with a simulated galvanized metal finish.
We’re unsure when the 2015 Texas Ranger edition of the RAM 1500 will be hitting Village Motors Inc., but for now, we have the RAM 1500 and the RAM 1500 EcoDiesel right here at our dealership! See you soon.
